Bethel Weekday Preschool is a 5 day, Christ-centered, preschool that provides the education and spiritual foundation for kids as they prepare to enter Kindergarten. Children will learn everything from their ABC's to 1,2,3's, colors, shapes and much more. They will also learn that God created each of them just the way He wanted, that He has a purpose for their life and that more than anything, He wants a relationship with them.
Each week, in addition to classroom instruction and play time, all classes participate in chapel where our staff Pastor's teach a Bible lesson that each child can understand. It's a time of not just listening to someone teach, but it gives them an opportunity to interact and to help them understand what the message truly is.
In addition to the Christian curriculum offered by your child’s class, each class has free play during each day. During cold and rainy weather we have playtime in our fellowship hall where we pull out ride-on toys and balls. When the weather permits we have outside play time on our playground. We have a great fenced playground that meets all safety regulations for children ages 2 and above.
At Bethel Baptist Church Preschool we believe that age-appropriateness needs to coincide with our curriculum through both academic and learning through play. Our program allows each child to experience active learning by providing hands-on learning, exploration, problem-solving and reflection. Learning materials and teaching styles are responsive to the age and individual differences of children. We see the importance of learning through play and of learning very important socialization skills, while also acknowledging that academic instruction in the older classes is necessary to adequately prepare our students for Kindergarten. We wish to be a joyful and rewarding beginning to each child’s educational journey.

Awesome Owls - 2.5 Year Olds
In the Owls class, your 2½-year-old will begin exploring the joys of learning through play in a loving, nurturing environment. Children will practice important classroom skills like using kind manners, sharing, taking turns, following simple directions, and making friends.
Each day includes a Bible story along with hands-on activities such as crafts, story time, puzzles, games, music, movement, and other fun activities. Throughout the year, children will explore colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through fun, age-appropriate experiences that encourage curiosity and discovery.
Children in the Owls class must be potty trained.
Forest Friends - 3 Year Olds
The Forest Friends class provides a fun and engaging environment where children continue to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Through daily routines, they develop important life skills such as kindness, cooperation, listening, and working together with classmates.
Each day includes a Bible lesson and includes a variety of hands-on learning experiences. Children enjoy art projects, imaginative play, story time, puzzles, games, outdoor play, and building activities that encourage creativity and exploration.
As they learn through play, children are introduced to early concepts including colors, shapes, numbers, letters, weather, and seasons. Activities are designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and prepare children for continued learning.
Children in the Forest Friends class must be potty trained.
The Fun Frogs - 4's (and 5's)
Our Fun Frogs class (Pre-K) is designed to prepare children for a successful transition into kindergarten through engaging, hands-on learning and plenty of play. Each day is filled with opportunities to grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a fun and encouraging environment.
Children participate in a daily Bible lesson while building foundational skills in letter and number recognition, beginning phonics, early literacy, and problem-solving. They also enjoy games, books, creative activities, building challenges, outdoor play, and cooperative learning experiences that encourage confidence, independence, and friendships.
As one of the final steps before elementary school, our Pre-K program emphasizes kindergarten readiness while fostering a love of learning. Spring evaluations are conducted to help families and teachers celebrate each child's growth and readiness for the next stage.
Children in our Pre-K class must be potty trained.
