The Enemy Within - Part 3
Just as Roman soldiers protected their heads in physical battle, we need spiritual protection for our minds. The enemy's primary strategy isn't to steal our salvation, but to make us doubt it. When we question whether God truly loves us, whether Jesus really died for us, or whether we're secure in our faith, we become paralyzed and ineffective in our spiritual mission. So we must put on the Helmet of Salvation daily. This isn't about earning salvation daily, but about protecting our minds from the lies that would render us powerless. Disobedience creates cracks in our armor, allowing doubt to seep in. But when we confess our sins and maintain our relationship with God, we walk confidently knowing our salvation rests not on our performance, but on God's unchanging grace.
